Get Free entry to the Zoo all winter

For the second year in succession, the South Lakes Wild Animal Park at Dalton is offering free entry for everyone throughout the winter. From 1st Novmber to 10th Feburay 2012 you can visit the Zoo, help to hand feed the giraffes and penguins, and enjoy all the other attractions without paying a penny.
Special events, such as the popular Night time safari and various Christmas themed events will still be subject to a charge, but for those who just want to enjoy a day out at the zoo, the whole park is free to enter.
The South Lakes Wild Animal Park is situated close to the main A590 road to Barrow, close to the village of Dalton in Furness. making it very easy to reach from the South Lakes area.
