Summary Jonathan Craig Guides is a trading name of Hotel Marketing Support Services, 36 Ghyll Road, Windermere, Cumbria. LA23 2LW. Your contract for purchases of Jonathan Craig products will be with Hotel Marketing Support Services. In this summary, Us and We means Hotel Marketing Support Services, and You means the purchaser. Legal jurisdiction These terms are set out in accordance with the The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. Their intention is to inform You of your rights under the contract and provide protection for both the you and us. The contract shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law, and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes arising. Nothing in these conditions is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under English law. If any part of these conditions is unenforceable, including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you, the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected. Payment service We use the Paypal payments service. Paypal is not responsible for the delivery of goods ordered directly from us. Payment shall be accepted under the terms and conditions of Paypal and under the terms and conditions displayed on their web site. Delivery All single book orders to be sent to the purchaser's UK address are delivered by post using the Royal Mail registered postal service. The goods must be signed for upon delivery. We will endeavor to dispatch all orders within 24 hours of confirmation of payment, if possible, and in any event within 10 working days. Multi book orders may be delivered by postal service or courier dependent upon the size of the order. All goods will be dispatched to the name and address you give us at the time of ordering. The above delivery arrangements apply only for delivery to addresses on the UK mainland. NO goods will be delivered to an address outside of the UK mainland. Non UK residents may, however, purchase books to be delivered to the hotel. If you cancel your accommodation If you cancel your accommodation booking we may, upon notification in writing from you, deliver the books to your UK address upon payment of the relevant postage and packing charge. If you do not wish to have your items delivered to your UK address we shall treat your order as having been canceled, according to the clauses titled "canceling your order", "returns" and "refunds"below. Canceling your order You may withdraw an order for
goods at any time up to the end of the seventh working day after they
have been received. You do not need to give us any reason for withdrawing
the order nor will you have to pay any penalty. The only circumstance
in which you cannot withdraw an order is where the goods concerned have
been removed from the sealed package in which they were delivered. To
withdraw an order you must notify us in writing at the address contained
in Paragraph one above. Returns When sending back any item, you must include any other material included with the goods, including marketing material, vouchers and special offer notifications. When we receive your returned goods your debit or credit card will be re-credited under the terms and conditions of the Paypal payments service. Refunds If you withdraws an order before we have dispatched it your debit or credit card will be re-credited as soon as possible and under the terms and conditions of the Paypal payments service. Any dispute regarding returned goods or refunds shall be referred to the Paypal payments service disputes procedure, details of which can be found on the Paypal website. If we are unable to supply books If we cannot supply your books we will tell you as soon as possible, and a refund will be made as soon as possible and under the terms and conditions of the Paypal payments service. We shall not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered, or any alternative product. Complaints We like to ensure that our customers are happy with both the products we sell and the service we offer, and when things do go wrong we try to resolve disputes quickly and to everyone's satisfaction. If you have a complaint please write to us at the address given in paragraph one of this summary. How we use your data Any personal information given to us for use in buying your guides will only be used in relation for that purpose.. We do not pass on or sell details of people buying our products to third party organisations or companies unless required to do so (E.g. for postal purposes).
